Bill Miller

With 25 years at the helm of the North American Hunting Club and a lifetime of hands-on hunting experience Bill Miller is the recognized host of North American Hunter TV as well as a prolific hunting and shooting sports writer.  His hunting adventures have taken him within a stones throw of the North Pole to central South America and to Africa.

While he’s ready, willing and able to undertake any hunting challenge, Bill’s favorites include upland birds and waterfowl over his own well-trained retrievers, spring long-beards and, of course, trophy white-tailed deer.

In addition to his role as Executive Director of the North American Hunting Club, Bill is also on the board of the Hunting Heritage Trust and was recently elected to the role of President of the Professional Outdoor Media Association. He’s a former board member of Wildlife Forever.

Dave Maas

Dave Maas

Dave Maas

Dave Maas credits his father for getting him started with a passion for the outdoors through frequent family fishing trips to central Ontario and hunting trips to northern Minnesota. Carrying his dad’s trusty .30-30 lever-action rifle with open sights. Dave shot his first deer, a big-bodied mature white-tailed doe, nearly 30 years ago.

Today, Dave is a co-host of “North American Hunter-TV,” as well as managing editor of North American Hunter magazine. Some of his favorite work trips have included hunts for Alabama turkeys, Alberta black bears, California wild boar, Colorado elk, Kentucky whitetails, Northwest Territories’ caribou and Wyoming pronghorns.

During his vacations, Dave “lives in a treestand” while bowhunting whitetails on family property in eastern South Dakota and western Wisconsin. While he still hunts regularly with his dad, brother and high school friends, he also shares the outdoors with his wife, Jodi. Together, Dave and Jodi hope to introduce their two young sons to the joys of a hunting and fishing lifestyle.

Melissa Bachman

Melissa Bachman is a producer and co-host for North American Hunter TV. She graduated with honors from St. Cloud State University with a double major in Mass Communications and Spanish. After college she interned with North American Hunter for the summer, and within a few months became a full-time member of the team.

Last season she spent around 150 days in the field both hunting and producing TV for North American Hunter Television. Her job entails filming, editing and hunting for both the TV show and magazine. Although most of the days were spent producing for the show, she still found time to bag a 336 bull elk with her bow,  a 52 inch Kudu in Africa, 2 trophy whitetails with her TC muzzleloader, and establish an on air presence after arrowing a 200 class Illinois whitetail on camera.
